"Year-round confidence. One tyre."
The AllSeasonContact 2 is Continental's flagship all-season tyre, engineered with Adaptive Tread Technology for outstanding grip in wet, dry, and light snow conditions. Its optimised silica compound delivers excellent fuel efficiency with an EU Label A rating for rolling resistance, while the asymmetric tread pattern ensures precise handling and a quiet, comfortable ride all year round.
Engineered in Hanover, Germany, the AllSeasonContact 2 represents the next generation of all-season performance — delivering confidence in every condition, every season.
Our latest-generation tread compound adapts to temperature changes, maintaining optimal flexibility in cold conditions and stability in summer heat. The result is consistent grip from −20°C to +40°C.
Wide, interconnected drainage channels and optimised sipe density evacuate water rapidly from the contact patch. Aquaplaning resistance is significantly improved over the previous generation, with wet braking distances reduced by up to 8%.
A high-silica compound with interlocking 3D sipes bites into packed snow and ice for reassuring traction. Fully 3PMSF certified — a genuine alternative to dedicated winter tyres in moderate climates.
Achieving an EU Label A rating for rolling resistance, the AllSeasonContact 2 helps reduce fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions without compromising performance. The optimised tread compound also extends tyre life, reducing replacement frequency.
Independent analysis combining professional test results and real-world owner feedback
Continental AllSeasonContact 2 delivers top-tier wet grip and efficiency with calm, quiet road manners. It performs confidently year-round, offering reassuring snow traction for an all-season and competitive longevity. Dry braking is only average and the steering can feel a touch soft in warm, fast driving, but overall balance and comfort stand out. A strong everyday choice for changeable weather.
A top-tier, well-balanced all-season tyre with outstanding wet grip and efficiency, consistently finishing near the top across varied tests. Average overall position 2.8 with multiple test wins. Repeatedly leads or challenges for best-in-class in wet braking/handling and rolling resistance. Dry braking is only mid-pack, preventing outright dominance in combined rankings.

Excellent in wet and dry, grip in snow is impressive for an all-season. Very quiet on the motorway. Would definitely buy again next time around.
Previously ran Michelin CrossClimate 2 and these are noticeably better in the wet. Dry handling is sharp and predictable. Very happy with the switch.
Handles well in all weather conditions. Grip in the wet is excellent and dry braking is reassuring. Only downside is slight road noise on coarse surfaces but nothing major.
Night and day difference compared to the budget tyres I had before. So much more confidence in the rain and the ride comfort is noticeably better. Worth every penny.
Good grip in all conditions and predictable handling. Wear looks reasonable so far. Nothing flashy but does exactly what you'd want from an all-season tyre.
Fine in dry and wet conditions but the snow performance was underwhelming compared to what the marketing suggests. Fine for light frost but wouldn't rely on these in proper winter weather.
Grip is OK but wear is noticeably faster than expected for a tyre at this price point. Only 4,200 miles and already showing significant wear on the outer edges. Expected more longevity.
18 months in and there's still plenty of tread left. Great performance year-round, from summer heat to winter cold. Easily the best value all-season tyre I've owned.
